Sheaffer Skripsert Cartridge Pen
From Penpedia
Cartridge pens were introduced by Sheaffer in 1955. The Lady Skripsert Cartridge Pen, likely similar to, or the same as the one imaged to the right, was introduced in 1958. The new cartridge filling system was meant to further ease refilling of the pen to the point of making it serious competition for the up and coming ball-point pen.
These pens feature a semi-hooded, steel nib and a friction cap. The bodies were made of a relatively soft plastic, and the caps are stainless steel.
This pen would later lend some of it's design elements to the 1965 Sheaffer Glideriter, a porous, plastic fiber tipped pen which featured a similar body style and cap but, obviously, was not a fountain pen.
