If you frequently find yourself repairing or restoring old pens, or working on pens that are somewhat more off the beaten path of things, this is one of the first books that you should pick up. The 8 1/2" x 11" printed book consists of 108 pages and comes spiral bound (or occasionally stapled). The book is not produced by a professional publisher, but is available through most pen service web sites and is packed with good information. There is no single source of repair information that is this extensive. Illustrations in the book come from both manufacturer's manuals and Mr. Dubiel himself.

This manual is commonly referred to as "Da Book."
